Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is a disease in which the body has increased reaction to low level of chemicals.

The worst for MCS sufferers are parfumes, personal cleaning products, house cleaning products and laundry detergents. Safe alternatives for these products exist.

Offending chemicals also come from new furniture, often threated with a number of chemicals, flame retardants in mattressees and couches, VOC (Volatile Organic Compaunds) from wall paint, and even fumes from the ink and the paper itself of books.

You can start with avoidance to lessen your symptoms, a support group is probably available in your area, some treatments may work for reducing your symptoms.

Most MCS people also suffer from EHS (Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity), so it may be wise to also reduce exposure to electricity and technology.
